Dr. Christa Morrison, a dedicated veterinarian at AVC, grew up in Gardendale, Alabama. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Auburn University in 2017, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. Known for her hard-working and compassionate nature, Dr. Morrison has a special interest in ultrasound and geriatric pet care. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading, and solving puzzles. At home, she cares for a lively group of pets, including two Alabama Brown Dogs, a Catahoula, a Rat Terrier mix, a Chihuahua mix, and a Domestic Shorthair tabby cat. Having started her veterinary career as a vet assistant at AVC before veterinary school, Dr. Morrison is thrilled to be back as part of the team. Her empathy and attention to detail make her a trusted advocate for pets and their families.
